Mrs Hinch fans often take to social media to share their cheap and easy cleaning hacks. Posting on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page, one cleaning fanatic has shared how she managed to clean her blinds in just two minutes.

She wrote: “Quick way to clean blinds.

“I’ll be honest I got fed up of cleaning the slats one by one so being lazy I decided to close them and try giving them a quick clean and I can’t believe how wet it works.”

The woman then posted a video revealing her special technique.

Firstly, she closes the blinds and then sprays the blinds down with Mr Sheen polish.

Next, the cleaning fan takes a microfibre hand duster and quickly wipes away the dust that has built up on the blinds.

These can be picked up for as little as 90p in shops like B&M and Home Bargains.

Hundreds of people rushed to the comments to explain how amazing they thought the hack was.

One person commented: “This is amazing, I need to try this!”

Another said: “I used to spray mine but then had to clean the windows after, just use a damp feather duster now.

“Close blinds and work from top down, flip and work from bottom up.”

One cleaning fan explained how she uses a sock to clean her blinds as all of the dust sticks to it.

However Mrs Hinch has recently revealed a different method using one cheap product that also leaves your room smelling amazing.

Taking to Instagram stories to share her cleaning hack, Mrs Hinch revealed how she cleans her blinds using a pack of tumble dryer sheets, her favourite Zoflora disinfectant and kitchen roll.

This may require a bit more work and effort but it can also disinfect your blinds as well as leaving a shiny finish.

She said: “She said: “The reason I use tumble dryer sheets is because they’re anti-static so they pick up all the dust.

“You don’t need to wet them or do anything…Once you’ve wiped every slat and all the dust off, put a capful of neat Zoflora onto a sheet of kitchen roll folded into four, and rub this onto your blinds. It just leaves the Zoflora, heavenly.”

Not only will the Zoflora disinfect the blinds, it will leave a lasting fragrance in your home for many hours.

The disinfectant will also be sure to pick up any remaining dust that the dry tumble sheets missed.

It is important to clean your blinds regularly because dust and pollen can become trapped and worsen allergies for those who suffer.

This is especially crucial if you have blinds in the bedroom where you sleep as this can worsen allergies like hay fever.
