AN EXPERT mechanic has revealed a little-known button that could restart your "dead" car.<\/p>\n
Scotty Kilmer took to his YouTube channel to explain the handy hack to his followers.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
Scotty, who has over five decades of experience in the motor industry, said: "A lot of cars, especially American cars, have a safety device.<\/p>\n
"If you get in an accident and hit something hard it turns the fuel pump off.<\/p>\n
"This is so…if you get in a wreck and there's a fire, it won't just keep pumping fuel on the fire."<\/p>\n
The device he referred to is called an inertia switch.<\/p>\n
