They can also help check if dividends have been received and paid. Note however the service cannot provide financial advice.\u00a0<\/p>\n If you have lost track of assets and they are registered with Equiniti it can help trace them.\u00a0<\/p>\n To do this you need to get as much information as possible beforehand. As well as helping the search succeed, it also validates ownership and prevents fraudsters fishing for lost assets.\u00a0<\/p>\n Information required includes: asset name, holder\u2019s full name \u2013 and any previous ones, address and any previous ones.<\/p>\n It is also worth noting that registrars cannot see share ownership that sits within nominee companies.
