THE Game Awards is the biggest event of the gaming calendar, and it isn\u2019t short on massive gaming announcements.<\/p>\n

One was completely unexpected, and PlayStation fans were especially hyped about this massive upgrade.<\/p>\n

God of War Ragnar\u00f6k is one of the most popular PS5 exclusives, and it won numerous awards when it was released in 2022.<\/p>\n

It was even nominated for the coveted Game of the Year award but narrowly missed out to Elden Ring.<\/p>\n

Just over a year following its release, Sony Santa Monica has a gift for all God of War fans.<\/p>\n

A trailer for God of War Ragnar\u00f6k was revealed at The Game Awards, showing around a minute of gameplay from the upcoming DLC.<\/p>\n

The footage featured a number of new boss and arena battles, with what felt like an extension to the story as well.<\/p>\n

It seems as if there are a number of new weapons and armour pieces for people to collect.<\/p>\n

More shocking than the announcement that God of War DLC is coming, was two very special follow ups.<\/p>\n

The first is that fans won\u2019t have to wait long to get their hands on the upcoming God of War Ragnar\u00f6k Valhalla DLC.<\/p>\n

The Valhalla DLC will launch on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, <\/strong>so there are only a few days to wait until it is live.<\/p>\n

Following the shock of the soon to be release date was another big surprise for players.<\/p>\n

God of War Ragnar\u00f6k Valhalla will be free for anyone who already owns the base game.<\/p>\n

If you own God of War Ragnar\u00f6k, then Valhalla should automatically download once it is available.<\/p>\n
