A MAJOR car maker will discontinue ALL petrol and diesel motors by 2030 as it moves to electric vehiclesin a "radical" change for Brits.
The extremely popular car giant Fiat has announced they will start to phase out all of their models that run off fuel.
In a bid to help save the planet, the Italian brand revealed by the end of the decade they will not sell cars that run off petrol or diesel – and that they are going full electric.
Outlining the sustainable vision, Fiat boss Olivier Francois told how from 2025 onwards, their production line will slowly eliminate motors that aren't chargeable.
He said: "Between 2025 and 2030, our product line-up will gradually become electric only.
"This will be a radical change for Fiat."

It's understood other major manufacturers such as Ford, Citroen, Bentley and Alfa Romeo could also be following in Fiat's footsteps.
It comes after PM Rishi Sunak announced on Wednesday that he is set to delay a 2030 ban on petrol and diesel car sales by five years – marking a massive victory for The Sun's Give Us A Brake campaign.
He promised a "better, more proportionate way" of reaching Net Zero that did not punish hard-pressed families.
Mr Sunak declared a “change of direction is needed” to keep the public onside over how to go carbon neutral by the middle of this century.

Speaking from No10 he said: “It should be you, the consumer, who makes that choice, not the Government forcing you to do it.
Insisting he was still committed to the headline 2050 date, he warned it must be done in a “more proportionate way” that does not hurt household budgets.
He added: “It cannot be right for Westminster to impose such significant costs on working people.
“If we continue down this path, we risk losing the consent of the British people.”
Mr Sunak, who was forced to bring forward his net zero target delays after a major leak, announced:
- THE 2030 deadline to replace boilers with £10,000 heat pumps will be delayed;
- HANDOUTS to make the switch would be increased to £7,500;
- HOME insulation diktats would be relaxed;
- BONKERS proposals for seven household bins, forced car pooling and taxes on meat and flying would never return.
Writing in The Sun, the PM added: “Hard-pressed families shouldn’t have to pay an unaffordable price to reach net zero.
“That’s my guiding principle when it comes to tackling climate change.
“It was the message of The Sun’s brilliant Give Us A Brake campaign this summer.
"And it’s why this week I am not going ahead with plans that would punish motorists and working people – instead I’m taking a long-term decision to meet our commitment in a better way.”
And Home Secretary Suella Braverman today suggested an early ban on petrol cars would "bankrupt British people" as she hailed Rishi Sunak for delaying the hated policy.
She told Sky News: "Fundamentally, we’re not going to save the planet by bankrupting the British people.
"We need to put economic growth and household costs first.
