MOTORISTS have been left nuts furious as the iconic Ford Capri returns as a Volkswagen SUV.
The giant manufacturer is set to revive the iconic car as an electric vehicle.

The classic car, which debuted in the late 1960s, is set to make a return to the market with a whole new look.
But old-school fans could be upset as Volkswagen is turning the Capri into a compact crossover powered by electricity, Carbuzz said.
The new MEB-based Capri was spotted drive testing earlier this year.
